A note from our headteacher
At Blaenbaglan, we want every child to feel happy, safe, valued and ready to learn. We have high expectations for all our pupils and are committed to helping each child achieve their very best through an inclusive, engaging curriculum shaped by the Curriculum for Wales.
Our dedicated staff work hard to create a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to be curious, confident and ambitious. We are also fortunate to have extensive outdoor spaces and woodland, giving pupils regular opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and connect with the world around them.
Above all, we want Blaenbaglan to be a place where children enjoy coming to school, feel that they belong and are given every opportunity to thrive.

Learning to use tools safely and developing valuable real-life skills through activities such as whittling and lighting fires.
